As a public sector user of the Accessibility Conformance Evaluator (ACE), you are using this platform to evaluate the completeness, consistency, and credibility of vendor-submitted accessibility documentation, including Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and VPAT®-based reports.
These insights support informed procurement decisions, technical assessments, and ongoing contract oversight.
Please review and acknowledge the following:
No Guarantee of Accessibility Compliance. This evaluation is based on the content of the submitted ACR or VPAT®-based report and does not include direct testing of the product. It does not confirm actual accessibility performance or user experience.
Use for Risk-Informed Decision Support. The evaluation provides structured insights aligned with WCAG, Section 508, and related standards to help identify potential legal, functional, and operational risks in procurement decisions.
Vendor Responsibility for Accessibility Claims. Accessibility conformance and the accuracy of all claims remain the responsibility of the vendor. Public entities should request additional validation (e.g., testing) where risk or uncertainty exists.
No Legal or Regulatory Determination. ACE is a decision-support tool and does not provide legal advice or constitute a certification of accessibility compliance. ACE evaluates the content of submitted accessibility documentation and does not determine actual product accessibility or regulatory compliance.
